One-Pot Pasta with Tomato-Basil Sauce


12 ounces casarecce or fusilli pasta
1 (28-oz.) can diced tomatoes
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 medium-size yellow onion, sliced
4 garlic cloves, sliced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/3 cup firmly packed fresh basil leaves
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper (optional)
1 (6-oz.) package baby spinach
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

How to Make It

Step 1

Place first 9 ingredients and, if desired, dried crushed red pepper in a Dutch oven in order of ingredient list. Cover and bring to a boil over medium-high heat (about 12 to 15 minutes). Reduce heat to medium-low, and cook, covered, 10 to 12 minutes or until pasta is slightly al dente, stirring at 5-minute intervals.

Step 2

Remove from heat, and stir in spinach. Cover and let stand 10 minutes. Stir just before serving. Serve with Parmesan cheese.

Note: We tested with Garofalo Casarecce pasta.

Mézes mustáros csirke

– ⅓ cup honey
– ¼ cup Dijon mustard
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 teaspoons salt
– 1 teaspoon pepper
– 500g chicken breast

1. In a small bowl or liquid measuring cup, mix the honey, mustard, oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
2. Place the chicken in a dish and pour the marinade over the chicken, reserving half for later.
3. Flip the chicken thighs over, fully covering them in the marinade.
4. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to an hour.
5. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and place the chicken thighs in the pan.
6. Cook for five minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through.

Gesztenyés ál tiramisu


  • 250g mascarpone
  • 125g habtejszin
  • 1 evőkanál porcukor
  • 125g gesztenyepüré
  • babapiskóta
  • 1 dl tej


  1. Keverd össze a mascarponét a tejszint és a porcukrot.
  2. Krumplinyomón nyomd át a gesztenyepürét (vagy reszeld reszelőn) és keverd a krémhez.
  3. Mártsd tejbe a babapiskótát és rakd ki vele a tál alt. Öntsd a tetejére a krémet.

Variáció: A gesztenyepürét ne keverd a krémhez. Rétegezd a babapiskótára.
